Franziska learned how to “let go” at an early age. Before she turned 13, she and her family moved houses 4 times and cities 5 times in Germany.

Having to start new, to make new friends and to store belongings in new places, lead to her path of owning less and to her passion to travel. Until now she lived in more than 10 cities for at least one month and visited more than 40 countries. 

Even when Franziska was a child, she was excited to visit her friends to help and motivate them to tidy. Similar to Marie Kondo she suggested to take every item from the shelfs, wardrobe and drawers to create one big pile. Then she asked her friend questions about each piece to find out what is important and useful for life going forward. It was always a great feeling for her to see the result and the happiness in her friends’ faces being surprised by themselves how fun it is to only own things that have a purpose.  

She would have never thought she could turn this passion into a profession until she travelled through South America with a group of friends that started to compare her with Marie Kondo. She watched the Netflix series, read the books and got inspired to become a Professional Organizer. 

In 2020, Franziska founded Cherishly. The word “cherishly” combines kindness, serenity, consciousness, gratefulness, joy, openness, passion, treasure, focus, balance, mindfulness, positive energy, simplicity.

At Cherishly, we are driven by three key values in our coaching sessions:

  • Sustainability: Taking care of the planet as it is your home. Thinking about how to find a new purpose for anything that has fulfilled its purpose for you. 
  • Mindfulness: Being mindful of what you own, how you move and what you think and how it contributes to your life. Focussing the mind on positivity to create space to fully enjoy moments of happiness. 
  • Love: Love for yourself, others and things you are surrounded by, but also to find out what you love to do and to be able to incorporate it more into your daily life.
